Mood Disorders

  • Depression (Major Depressive Disorder): Persistent sadness, hopelessness, and loss of interest or pleasure in activities.

  • Bipolar Disorder: Alternating episodes of depression and mania/hypomania (periods of elevated mood, high energy, or irritability).

​

​

  • Persistent Depressive Disorder (Dysthymia): Chronic, long-term form of depression with milder but lasting symptoms.

Personality Disorder

  • Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD): Intense emotions, unstable relationships, impulsivity, and fear of abandonment.

  • Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD): Disregard for others’ rights, manipulative or harmful behavior.

  • Narcissistic Personality Disorder: Excessive self-importance, need for admiration, lack of empathy.

  • Acute Stress Disorder: Short-term distress similar to PTSD, occurring soon after trauma.
